Filtered/ozonated bottled water is said to be a healthy way to promote detoxification and cleansing of the body. However, recent discussion has caused me to ponder the validity of this statement. I have heard bottled water contains benzene and other potentially hazardous toxins which overtime can build up in your liver, kidney, or intestine. These toxins, along with other toxins found in commercial products such as deodorant, hand cleansers, facial wash, dish and laundry detergent, and even hair shampoo and conditioner can have a detrimental effect on your immune system which stimulates the buildup of gallstones and/or parasites, worms, protozoa, or ameboe in the body. Is it true that commercially bottled water is polluted with such toxins?
