The smell of the ocean is something that stays with you forever. I would find myself taking deep cleansing breaths without even realizing it. Breathing in huge gulps of that fresh salty air then ever so slowly releasing it was an automatic reaction to the setting of the beach. I now know what is ment by the term, cleansing breath. It’s like a flushing of your inner tension. I fill my lungs to the bursting point, gathering all the ———— in my body and slowly let it go. I just can’t think of a more calming thing.
