My oncologist advised me to take it during and after chemo.
Also diet is important. No alcohol. No sugars. Go light on carbs. Light lean proteins. Go light on even healthy fats like olive oil.
This is basically what I ate to bring my chemo super high liver enzymes down to well below normal numbers.
Small frequent meals. Small piece of salmon or chicken–grilled with lime juice and herbs and a healthy portion of green leafy romaine, spinach, dandelion, kale, zuchinni, carrots, etc. I drank water, a greens drink, a roasted dandelion drink and green tea. Breakfast was and is usually plain non fat or low fat yogurt and walnuts with blueberries, raspberries…. Lunch something green and leafy with some protein.

Drink Lemon or barley water continuously. Drnking Indian Mulberry fruit juice is ideal.
A liver flush is a home remedy. Although there are many variations, it typically involves drinking two glasses of organic apple juice every two hours for two days, eating only fruits and vegetables. At the end of the two days, people take one to two tablespoons of Epsom salts dissolved in water, followed by half a cup of olive oil with lemon juice at bedtime.
