La Palmyra — a mouth-watering experience for the taste buds

As most of you will know I am currently undertaking a very healthy detox plan. This plan of course only allows me to eat healthy and nutritious foods for the duration of my detox.
So with this in mind, I rounded up a few of my friends last week and we chose to eat at the new and deliciously tempting La Palmyra Italian restaurant.
This new haunt is home to the freshest (no frozen), tastiest mouth-watering ingredients ever and with two course only €15 —how could we not go there!.
I started my meal with a bruschetta starter, which was made of a fresh home-made pizza base, topped with tomatoes, garlic and pesto. It was so different and tasty, particularly the base.
For my main course I opted for Penne El Salmone this is made up of smoked salmon in a creamy tomato sauce with Penne Pasta. I will honestly say this was the tastiest penne pasta I have ever eaten. My taste buds were dancing with delight afterwards. I definitely recommend this restaurant for couples, parties or simply any occasion, with food and prices like that how could you go wrong? Two courses at lunch time cost as ittle as €10 and two courses in the evening time cost €15.
La Palmyra is now open seven days a week at 8 John Street, Kilkenny, and the restaurant also has a second floor space available for private parties and birthdays. Booking is advisable. For bookings or enquiries call (056) 7715802.
