What type of diarrhea is associated with the eneterotoxin of type-a clostridium perfringens?

I assume it causes bloody diarrhea due to the toxin acting as a pore-forming toxin that leads to cell destruction via a loss of membrane integrity. Is this correct?

All the bacteria found in the Clostridium family are very dangerous and pathogenic. In that family you'll find perfringens (gas gangrene), botulinum (Botulism), and C. dificile, normally associated with dangerous diarrhea. All of them can cause exceptionally dangerous clinical symptoms that can kill you. It's important to understand that, like all the bacteria, it's not the actual bacteria that harms you; it's the exudate (waste byproduct) of the bacteria that gets you. The exudates of all bacteria in the Clostridium genus are exceptionally toxic. The exudate of Clostridium botulinum (Botulism) is so toxic that one teaspoon could kill a city. C. perfringens is not normally associated with enteric infections; it's the pathegen that causes Gas Gangrene, and would normally be found in a dirty wound that went deep enough to set up anaerobic conditions (knife wounds, gunshot wounds), where the bacteria thrives. It doesn't grow well in an aerobic environment, and is not normally associated with diarrhea. But if perfringens WERE to grow in the gut, you could expect violent bloody diarrhea and death.
