My little boy is almost 2 weeks old but seems to have bad constipation a lot, he is on formula and breast milk.
You should not be breast feeding and feeding formula at the same time. It is one or the other. Changing between the two will not only cause constipation but other stomach problems. If you are not always available to nurse than you should pump. I am curious to know if your doctor is aware of you changing feeding habits so frequently.

It might not be constipation. Newborns make lots of noises an seem to strain when passing poo, but it doesn't mean he's constipated. Talk to your doctor about your concerns as he's still very young I wouldn't give him anything else. It could be a side effect of the two types if feeding.
