Has anyone had colonic irrigation privately in the UK?
I'm thinking of having it for weight loss and to cure flatulence. Is it any good? Do you have to get undressed? I heard Princess Di had it
You don't need to do this and it will not aid weight loss. There is no medical or scientific evidence to prove its effectiveness. Just ensure that you include plenty of fibre in your diet and keep hydrated.
There is only one way to lose weight- diet and exercise. There are no tricks or quick fixes.
I don't know about you, but if it were something I was thinking about I think I would want it done in private. What were you thinking? The middle of the local park at noon?
Anyway, it's all a load of old tosh and Di was obviously somewhat mental along with the rest of the in-breds. Maybe that's why they come up with their strange ideas, and don't forget her husband talks to trees.
I have never had one in the UK, but I have had many colonics here in the US. You are correct about Princess Di, she had a colonic twice a month and was very open about it. I remember reading where the Queen was not very happy about her openness, as she was filmed going in and out of a private clinic somewhere there in London.
If you are using colonic irrigation as a weight control method, forget it, you would be better off taking a series of enemas at home. Any weight you lose is only temporary.
