I have been debating using a colon cleansing product for a few months now. I have never done it before and I feel physically that my body is backed up with years of food, toxins, waste.. you name it. I've heard of several brands but while searching around online I've found alot of debating about which ones work, which ones are fraud and which ones are not very healthy in the first place. The two I have been looking at the most are Bowtrol and Colonix.
Which one is better or is there a better one? If you've had personal experience with either I would appreciate your input. If you have experience with something different has worked perfectly for you I'd like to know.

I am especialy concerned about how safe or healthy these products are, and what symptoms users suffer. I would seriously like to avoid any that cause severe crampnig, nausea, or headaches.

The best thing for safe colon cleaning would probably be papaya pills, or just fresh papaya. If you're worried about side effects, just go with the fresh papaya. Safe cleaning!

A friend of mine turned me on to Colonix. He and his family had used it with incredible results. Especially his mom. She lost like five pounds of (you know what) in about a week. I tried it last Oct. and Nov. I did two months since it was my first time. Wow, it really does work. Look at the pictures at Dr.Natura.com. It really is like that. I got a bunch of people at work to try it and most of them (the ones who actually did the program) said they are going to do it every year as am I. I might sound like a salesman for the company but I'm really not. I just found a product that worked and worked well. It's really gross to have that junk come out of you but I would much rather clean it out than let it stay inside. The brands you mentioned I have read were very strong and some of the photos of the Bowtrol were actually intestines being held over the toilet. Sorry for being gross, but we need to know these things…
We eat a very high fiber diet full of whole grains and lots of veggies and water, so it had to be the cleanse that helped us. We've also switched to all organic to keep from contaminating our bodies again.
We've been done 2 weeks now and the benefits are still there. I was a little worried we would go back to feeling yucky again after we finished it, but we feel great!
It is a total body cleanse which includes the liver, intestines, lymphatic, gall bladder and circulatory system. We followed with probiotics daily to ensure we reintroduce the good stuff back into our body.
It involves taking the cleanse tablets and liver cleanse capsules with the fiber at night with a full 8oz. minimum glass of spring water. We chose the liquid fiber because we heard it was more effective, but if you prefer you can get the one with fiber tablets. My husband saw results the next morning, but I took 3 days to see a change.
We are preparing to start a candida and parasite cleanse, then on to a heavy metal cleanse after that.
Be sure to break for a week between cleanses, if you decide to do more than 1. Think about the risk you take by getting drive thru everyday or taking that Rx medication with a warning label a mile long. How many people have died or developed cancer or diabetes from doing a colon cleanse? Research the statistics for the deathrate from meds and compare to the risk of taking a colon cleanse.

I used some Kleri Tea from www.drnatura.com and it worked. It cleared my constipation right up. I haven't used the Colonix yet.

there are many colon cleanse products that can be purchased at a health food store, but the cheapest and easiest method that will also be beneficial to you in many other Ways such as helping to prevent cancer with all the phi to chemical / anti-oxidants is Aloe-Vera Juice! You can get organic aloe vera juice at Wal-Mart by the gallon for under $8.00. Mix with grape juice or orange juice to make it taste better and do a 50-50 several times until you start to get the laxative effect and that is about it ! you should always drink it to be healthy. 4 ozs. several time a day ……….

Eat a good diet, high in natural foods and plenty of water. Fast for two meals once a month (NOT fast twice in a month for one meal). That's all you need.

If you don't know, a fast (a real fast) is no food or drink for 24 hours, or two meals. Water is acceptable to keep from dehydrating.

Mr. Domenic x……….consult your physician and don't play with your health!!!! This is an alternative medicine category. Most physicians don't know squat about herbal remedies and would not comment positively about them if they did. And do they really inform you. My mothers phys put her on lipitor but said nothing or ask nothing about her dietary habits. She was eating eggs and sausage every morning and lots of fried foods. My brother was on risperdal and was taking it until he began to not feel well. His blood sugar was 440 and it said on the bottle " may cause diabetes. He went to the doctor and came back with sliding scale reg insulin with no other changes made in his meds. Well my brother is very intelligent and so he quit taking risperdal. His blood sugars are now normal, but he needs another psych med.
