Why did my vision turned black for a couple seconds?
this only happened once for me. I haven't eaten anything for a day. i only had fluids because of a colon exam i needed. They said for the colon exam i am not allowed to eat anything except fluids. In the morning of my exam i felt lightheaded and a little dizzy ( i think it's because i have not eaten anything for day and was drinking lots of fluids) suddenly i started to see black spots and my vision went black for a about 3 seconds. I'm worried. it only happened during the morning of my colon examination.
You might have moved to sudden or jerked your neck. Blood pressure changes rapidly and sometimes very fast to make your vision go away for a few seconds. Take your rime getting up from sitting or lying down and eat something. You could have been Dehydrated or just hungry. Your blood needed sugar or something. A lot of things could have happened. If it persists, call up your doctor and see whats up.
I wouldn't worry too much about it though.
