Without seeing the entire report it is hard to know. I suppose the cecum could cause other organs to be pushed out of alignment and pressure on a valve, artery or something else that would cause these symptoms.

The mouth grings food increasing the surface area, the esophagus carries food to the stomach and it also absorbs some nutrients, that’s all I remember rite now. Some other organs for digesting food are the small intestine, large intestine, pancreas, liver

food doesn’t go through, but passes the salivary glands, the pharynx
