Your Questions About Intestine Cleanse Diet

Steven asks…

Has any one tried the master cleanse diet?

I am on day 4 of the 10 day fast. I use the laxative tea at night and the sea salt water flush in the morning. My question is when is all the built up stuff from my intestines suppose to come out. When I do the sea salt flush it is just a bunch of water that comes out the other end. Is this normal? I know this is a gross question and I hope I didn’t offend or make anyone sick. Thanks for your help

Jill answers:

Hello. I have experience using the Master Cleanse Diet. I actually use this diet 2-3 times a year. Don’t feel bad or embarrassed about discussing your bowel movements. That’s what the Master Cleanse is all about! The main purpose is to remove any waste that resides in your body. It is normal for you to experience water being released from your rectum. Remember, what you put in your body must come out!

The only time you should be concerned is if you are unable to have a bowel movement. If you are unsatisfied with your bowel movements and would like them to be fuller I suggest adding more cayenne pepper to your juice. You should add just as much as your taste buds can take. Why add cayenne pepper??? Well, cayenne pepper is one of the most powerful natural cleansing agents available. It will help remove excess waste from your body. Cayenne pepper is very vital to the cleansing process and will better your results.

Is an oatmeal diet a good way to cleanse the body?

I have been cramming an inconsiderable amount of junk into my body for the past month and am feeling bloated, constipated, and just entirely CRAPPY. I am in dire need of just emptying out my intestines of all this crap.
I know oatmeal is very very good for you and was wondering, if I eat oatmeal and a piece of fruit for breakfast and lunch, and maybe a salad with salmon for dinner for about a week or so, will this be a good way to just rid my body of all the crap in my intestines? Thank you!
I snack in between meals, but was just wondering if this was a good idea for just meals!

I will, of course, drink lots of water and stay away from coffee, artificial sweeteners, and “fat free” products. It’s so hard because I am absolutely ADDICTED to coffee, but I realize it is ruining me.. (I usually drink around 6 cups a day -_-’)
annabelle… i never said anything about losing weight. i do believe i asked about clearing out my intestinal system of the large amounts of junk food i’ve been cramming into my stomach. my stomach doesn’t feel like it’s able to digest anything anymore because it’s just overloaded with crap :(

Jill answers:

Oatmeal will help. Also bran and anything else which is high fibre will help to cleanse your intestines too.

Susan asks…

colon cleanse , how does it work ?

I am trying to clean my colon, and I heard that some people loose weight with these pills. How does it work ? do you feel constipated when you take these pills (thats one of the problems with diet pills)
please advise if these pills really clean your intestines and if that also helps you loose weight.

Jill answers:

Any natural colon cleanse should work for you. I normally use Bromalite colon cleanse. It helps me flushing out waste from my body and relieves me. I’m happy using this product which is made of grape seed and mangosteen extracts. You can check this product. >> http://www.dietpillrating.com

low hcl acid- raw vegan diet?

hi i read this at living-foods.com (posted below..) i have been eating raw foods for the past 6mnths.and now it is winter and im finding my digestion to be really slow! im feeling cold and tired all the time.. 10 days ago i did a sort of ‘master cleanse/juice feast”.. and now i feel i cant digest any food!! -except apples nd oranges… can anyone suggest some tips for better digestion and keepin warm ;) .. thanks
also has anyone esle experienced this.. and is it a good thing to have low stomach acid?? “Doesn’t the acidic ph of the stomach destoy enzymes?
Viktorus Kulvinskas, one of the world’s foremost and most experienced active researchers into enzyme nutrition has information showing then stomach acid merely deactivates food enzymes. The enzymes are then reactivated in the more alkaline small intestine. Many people who eat all raw foods, sense a world of healthful difference in our energy, digestion and connectedness with nature by eating enzyme-rich living foods. When we stopped eating cooked protein foods which require large secretions of stomach acid (which is not healthful for several reasons) our stomach doesn’t produce much stomach acid. Many people who eat raw foods eat a low protein diet and are free from the stomach acid secretions and have much more energy and a lighter disposition.”

Jill answers:

To me, it sounds like dehydration and maybe you aren’t chewing your food enough. To minimize acidic affects, I use a blender to grind up many veggies before I eat them so that they aren’t too much stress on my stomach. I notice that when I take the time to chew each bite at least 15 times and drink 2-3 sips of room tempature water between bites I have no problems digesting. I also enjoy making my own green juices, using spinach and dandelion in room temp water in the blender. You may want to try these and see if they help.

I also wonder if you are eating enough healthy fats, considering you often feel cold. This is where unprocessed raw nuts and seeds come in handy, as well as cold pressed virgin olive oil in your salads and raw soups.

Ruth asks…

Is lack of fiber a contribution factor to obesity?

Soluble fiber gives people the feeling of feeling full and non-soluble fiber helps clean out the lower intestine. You see all these adds nowadays for “cleansing” Could it be Americans just need to eat less crap and produce more in the bathroom?

Does anyone know a heavy person on a high fiber, low fat diet?

Jill answers:

Definitely Yes!!
One must have sufficient fibers in his/her diet. As you only told that it gives us feeling of fullness which prevent us to eat more.
Fiber diet also keep our cholesterol at low level.
Fiber diet keeps our digestive track clean.
So, a over weight person must switch to a high fiber and low carbohydrate diet to loose his/her weight.
