Can I do colon hydrotherapy if I'm lactose intolerant?
I was considering colon hydrotherapy (colonics) for weight loss. Can I do that if i'm lactose intolerant? I heard it might not be for sensitive people, but I'm not sure what that means exactly. Does anybody know?
Colonic irrigation is a scam. It won't 'cleanse' you and won't do anything for weightloss.
It can be harmful a) when carried out badly or by an untrained person or b) from contaminated or unknown mixtures used to irrigate the bowel.
It really is a pointless exercise that will only make you poorer while risking your health at the same time.
Avoid.
Do NOT do this. As the previous poster said, it is a scam and is dangerous. Aside from possible contaminants, the force of the water can stretch out–or even rupture!!!–your intestines. Actually, some doctors are even speaking out against enemas for these same reasons. Certainly, enemas are far less invasive, yet they are still considered potentially dangerous.
Also, colonics will not help you lose weight. The only weight you may lose is the temporary weight of the food in your bowels, but as soon as you eat again, your weight will return to its original level.
Please seek another alternative to weight loss.

Thank you for this entry, honestly, can you become a writer for wikipedia because the current stuff hosted there for our interest is frankly garbage. I don’t quite agree exactly with it but I agree with it on the most part and I wholeheartedly applaud your effort in putting it so clearly.
my wife actually loves your web-site and she wanted me to come and tell you how much she enjoys it.
