O.k., So here goes. I will try to review this product and subject in the most tactful way I can.

I have never used a product like this before, and read the other reviews on Amazon before proceeding. I work out 4-5 days a week at a gym and figured if I kept my “outside” healthy, why not give it a try and get the “inside” healthy too. Now I could cut back on eating a little, and that wouldn’t hurt, but I wanted to try this product, along with the recommended ACAI freeze dried product from Amazon (see my review on that separatley) to see what, if anything, would happen.

So, I usually have one bowel movement (BM) per day in the a.m. I started using the product, as directed, taking one tablet in the a.m. and one in the p.m. Within a few days, my BM’s increased to two. There was more content than normal. Not runny or diarehea, just what one could consider a normal and healthy BM. I increased the dosage to two in the a.m. and two in the p.m.. This increased BM’s to two or sometimes three per day. The recommendation is that you not take more than 3 in the a.m. and 3 in the p.m. so with that I stayed with the 2 in the am. and two in the p.m. which seemed to be working just fine.

I did not have any “emergency” situations arise. When I felt the need to go, there was no problem. I would ‘get situated” and have a large BM in a realtive short period of time and felt fully evacuated (if that is the correct medical term). The same would be true of the second or sometimes, the thrid BM of the day. From time to time, I would have gas, but I attributed that to my eating habits. We will see what happens when I get to the end of the 30 day recommended end of the dosage.

The only thing I am not sure about is whether it is the Super Cleanse or the ACAI is having the effect on my BM’s. I have not lost or gained any weight since I started on March 18, 2009, but like I said, I didn’t change my diet. When I reach the end of the 30 day recommended dosage, I will stop the Super Cleanse and continue on with the ACAI and see what happens next.

I felt the product performed as advertised. Can’t say how your digestive system will react, but mine had not problems.

Well, I don’t think I got too graphic, while still giving a fair review.

I have tried other products with no results. I got the information on Bowtrol from their web site and ordered on Amazon.

I was feeling very bloated and constipated every time I ate. I had a lump in my gut that didn’t want to move. It almost felt like if I didn’t go to the bathroom soon the stuff inside would come back into my stomach.

I have been using this for 3 months now and have lost 15 lbs. I was not concerned about loosing weight as much as wanting relief. After a month of use I have changed my diet to include at least 50% fresh raw food (veg and fruit, can’t stomach the idea of raw meat of any kind).

I researched the process of colon cleansing so I was aware of the symptoms to expect. As you clean out the colon of old fecal matter, the lining that allows nutrients to be absorbed into the body is cleared and will allow the toxins to get into the blood stream also and would make you feel sick until you get your colon cleaned out. I prepared for this by drinking more pure water, gentle extercise and getting more fresh veggies, fruits and raw nuts into my diet.

I also found on another web site the purpose of taking a 6 month colon cleanse versus a 7 day or 1 month cleanses. As you clean out your colon you need to give it time to heal and return to normal size and function.

After being on it for 1 month I got my husband to try it and he is doing very well. He is 53 years old and had the stregnth of a 75 year old. We have a family room and computer room in the basement and for the last year he stopped going down there because he could walk back up the stairs. He is now able to walk back up the stairs and is getting stronger every day.

All I know is it works and I am so glad I found this product.

Bought this from the Bowltrol website. Started with just two capsules to make sure I suffered no adverse effects. Good response to initial dosing, but after that suffered cramping and diarrhea causing me to keep the dosing low (not above 4 caps per day). Went on vacation shortly after starting and kept dosing low because I didn’t want to be running for the bathroom and/or making loud sounds at inappropriate times (if you know what I mean). I am now at the end of my supply and have been taking 6 – 7 caps over the past couple of days with NO results. In fact, my stomach is bloated and I’m retaining fluid.

Lots of positive (and somewhat suspicious) reviews for this stuff on the web. I, however, cannot strongly enough urge everyone to save their money and try something else (I don’t know what, but not this stuff). Since I only bought a 1 month supply and I have proceeded cautiously (for the reasons stated above) it is too late for me to get my money back. If you do opt to try this stuff, do a better job of keeping your eye on the calendar in case you want to return it.

I was just about ready to give up on colon cleansers until I found this one. It is much gentler than the others that I tried. I ended up throwing away several bottles over other brands over the last 6 months after showing them to my doctor.
